Hi everyone! Summer is definitely here. It was so hot this past week that it was still 80 degrees outside at 10 pm at night! I find myself reaching for this dress more and more as the weather gets warmer.  It's way too hot to layer and to be honest, I just don't want to deal with all the fuss! I love that I can throw this dress on, put on a pair of sandals and be out the door (you can cinch it with a belt to emphasize your waist, but I just didn't want anything sticking to my body in the heat :P). Speaking of sandals, I have been loving these from Steve Madden for the weekends when I'm busy running errands and heels are not the most practical option. I love that it has a gold accent at the tip for some fun details. They're also super comfortable - no break in period necessary. However, I wouldn't recommend wearing them if you're planning to do A LOT of walking as they have no arch support. I wore these for the first day I was in New York and then switched to tennis shoes for the rest of my trip. If you're not planning to walk 25,000 steps a day though (according to my Fit-Bit), these are a great option!
