Ever since I started blogging, my best friend and I have been taking pictures every chance we get. It's nice because it gives us an opportunity to hang out with each other more and catch up despite our hectic schedules. The other day as we were heading to dinner to carb up before our half marathon, the sun was setting and we both screamed "golden hour"! She happened to have her camera with her and we literally had 2 minutes before we missed the lighting. We managed to capture some photos and headed to dinner.

I love rompers because they're comfortable and easy. I don't have to think about a matching piece to go along with the outfit. Even though it is officially Fall, the weather is still warm in the Bay Area so I'm trying to wear all my summer outfits before it gets too cold. I threw a blazer on for some warmth and to pull the whole outfit together. Since the romper is a little shorter, I paired it with a longer boyfriend blazer for balance. As it gets colder, I plan on wearing the romper with some tights and boots. It's been such a hot summer, I'm read for some winter! Hope you had a great weekend and as always, thanks for stopping by!

Transition Outfit - Day to Night

Jacket: Zara (similar here in faux leather)
Skirt: Aritzia
Shoes: Hinge from Nordstrom
Clutch: Danielle Nicole from Nordstrom (similar here)

This summer, I feel as though I've been busy every weekend either traveling or hanging out with friends. I went out with some friends on Friday but didn't have time to go home and change after work so I wore an outfit that could easily transition from day to night. I kept the outfit simple with a white sleeveless v-neck and tulip skirt, but spiced it up with some laced block heels. During work, however, I kept the moto blazer so that my shoulders weren't exposed to keep it more professional. It has been super hot in the Bay Area these past few weeks, but my office is always a cool 68-70 degrees so a sweater or thin jacket is always necessary! I know I'm going to kick myself for saying this, but I'm definitely ready for Autumn to arrive so I can bring out my jackets and scarves! In the meantime, I'm going to wear as many summer outfits before the season runs out!

Pants: Zara
Shoes: Ann Taylor
Bag: Longchamp

Hi everyone! Work has been busier than usual with quarter end activities. Just wanted to share a quick post with you featuring this Zara pants. I got them last year when I forgot to bring trousers to a work conference and had to purchase them in the city. I love the olive green color, but especially like how the black panel on the side lengthen my legs. By now you can tell I love any item with unexpected elements. Unfortunately these pants are no longer available, but I always see these around, so give them a try the next time you may stumble across something similar. Hope your week is off to a great start and apologies for the short post! <3
